Emily Vincent, M.S. CCC-SLP is a bilingual/bicultural (Spanish-English) speech-language pathologist. She has been working with families and children for many years providing therapy, diagnostic, and consultation services through Early Intervention, public and private preschools including Head Start and Early Head Start, as well as TK-8 schools. Her caseload can vary from 15 mos to 15 years or older in settings from home visits, school or center visits, or online learning platforms. She began life after college as a Head Start preschool teacher, then later as a Disability Specialist for Early Head Start and Head Start while attending graduate school to become a bilingual speech-language pathologist. As the granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, Emily is an avid ally for marginalized communities. She is a firm believer that it's all the same fight and works hard to support all the spaces of intersectionality. If she is not preparing slides for continuing ed for early childhood educators or finding new books to read to kids, she can be found hanging out with family in the mountains or the beach, working on her PR for a deadlift or listening to a novel while trying to catch up on laundry.
