Marissa Galin is a speech-language pathologist with extensive experience working with acutely ill patients across the lifespan in the acute care setting. She is passionate about helping patients and their loved ones navigate the complexities and challenges of communication, cognition, and swallowing difficulties associated with serious, life-limiting conditions, and she is a strong advocate for patient and family-centered care. She is a current clinical doctoral student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, focusing her research investigations on clinical education for speech-language pathologists who work with palliative care populations.
